Chemical Composition and Performance Characteristics

ERTi-1 Titanium Wire has a Titanium content exceeding 99%, with strictly controlled impurities: Carbon (C) ≤0.03%, Oxygen (O) 0.03-0.10%, Hydrogen (H) ≤0.005%, Nitrogen (N) ≤0.012%, and Iron (Fe) ≤0.08%. This high purity ensures the toughness and impact resistance of the weld joint, effectively preventing hydrogen embrittlement.

The deposited metal exhibits excellent mechanical properties, with a room temperature tensile strength exceeding 240 MPa, a yield strength of 170 MPa, an elongation of not less than 24%, and no cracks observed in longitudinal bending tests.

Welding Process Requirements

• Use low heat input and fewer welding layers during welding, and strictly control the interpass temperature below 150℃.

• Recommended welding current: 180A for 1.6mm diameter welding wire, 190A for 2.5mm diameter welding wire, and 210A for 3.2mm diameter welding wire.
